Meet Rachel
While originally from northeast Ohio, Rachel graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2019. Now based in Columbus, she has four years of experience with a focus on retail, commercial, healthcare, and education projects. Using creativity, design, and critical thinking skills, combined with a background in project coordination of fast-paced, multi-site programs, Rachel brings a comprehensive approach to achieving her goals at MKC.
Rachel is devoted to community development and youth engagement in design opportunities. She is a board member on the Exhibits committee at The Center for Architecture and Design. She curates and installs multi-disciplinary design exhibits to be displayed in the gallery window at the Downtown Columbus office location. Rachel spent three years working as a counselor at Camp Architecture. She strived to inspire students grades 3-8 to explore architecture and related design industries. In her free time, Rachel enjoys playing volleyball, exploring Columbus breweries, and creating fiber arts like macrame, embroidery, and weaving.
